where it started
Born out of Watford’s Great Big Green Week
The Repair Cafe grew out of South West Herts’ wider sustainability work, with early support from Veolia and Watford Borough Council. What began as an idea to keep useful things out of landfill has become a monthly gathering of neighbours, volunteers and a lot of tea.
